My wife and I Had dinner at HOWM restaurant Located at Selina in Chelsea New York. I must say the ambulance was Spectacular! The garden is beautifully decorated with wonderful mirrors, the furniture is modern an extremely comfortable and complemented by beautiful weather. Melina G Was our server. She was attentive, courteous, professional and gave us wonderful recommendations. Paul was also amazing and extremely pleasant. The presentation of the signature guacamole was phenomenal and complemented by great taste. The mini Churrasco Was perfectly cooked, tender moist and extremely tasty. However the star of the night was the chicken à la Brasa- guava glazed Was delicious contif tomatoes and Rosemary. By far the best chicken I've ever had in my life. I will come back, many compliments to the chef

Went to try this new place with my friend and or was so good! Service was amazing -- and the interior was so nice. Currently it's not packed because it just opened so there was so much space which I honestly loved! The waitress told me there's a rooftop area upstairs and I saw a back patio! I also saw another table with a cake so it might be a great area for birthday celebration too (but I guess ask then just in case). Food wise everything we ordered was amazing! Drinks too -- my favorite was probably the Octopus and Churrasco. I think I wouldn't mind coming back with a larger party to try all the food I want to eat. I was too full for dessert but so curious about it too.

HOWM Cocina & Cocktails is a new pan South American restaurant (the chef is from Ecuador) in the Selina Chelsea hotel. HOWM fully delivers on the "cocina" part of the equation, but the cocktails are disappointing (not bad, but don't put it in the name unless you are able to deliver stellar drinks). Back to the food, it is really amazing. Great flavors in every dish we tried. A moderate amount of heat in one or two dishes, but nothing is very spicy. The desserts are great too.

The pictures don't do it justice, but damn that was a good meal! Everything was delicious, food and drinks. Love the variety of small plate/large plates and the fact they offer package combos if you have groups of a certain size (albeit not particularly price effective?). From the plating, to the freshness, to the seasoning, HOWM did it all and completely nailed the South / Central American menu we were hoping for. On top of this, the ambiance was great, good energy, the interior a little fancier, with the exterior a bit more playful. Ultimately, an awesome catch and glad they were able to accommodate our party of 8. Would happily come back. *One thing to note (mostly for the owner) - this is a brand new restaurant, and while the drinks were delicious, they took forever (~20-30 min per). The staff wasn't very knowledgeable yet, and a bit slow, so your meal might take longer than expected. I'll chalk it up to being new and won't ding them for it this time, but hope efficiency improves for future experiences.
